SCHEMA GENERATOR
A schema markup generator that hands you code you can paste

Digimetrics Schema Generator supports 16 schema types (business, product, article, FAQ and more) and returns checked JSON-LD code with no missing or placeholder values, plus one click to Google's Rich Results test. HOW IT WORKS
How to generate schema markup in three steps
- 1
Pick the schema type
Choose from 16 types: Organization or LocalBusiness for your home page, Product for a product page, Article for a post, and so on.
- 2
Fill in name, URL and extras
Add up to six optional extras such as logo, phone and address. The more accurate detail, the more useful the markup.
- 3
Copy, paste and test
Paste the JSON-LD into the page head, then use the one-click link to Google's Rich Results test to confirm it reads correctly.
Takes a few seconds. Included on every plan.
What is a JSON-LD generator, and why JSON-LD?
A JSON-LD generator writes structured data as a small block of code you paste into a page, separate from the visible content. Google says JSON-LD, Microdata and RDFa all work, but recommends JSON-LD because it is easiest to implement and maintain.
That separation is the practical win. You do not have to edit your page layout or wrap text in extra attributes: you add one script block to the page head, and you can change it later without touching the design.
Schema Generator outputs JSON-LD only, already filled in from your answers and checked for gaps. If you are new to the idea, our glossary explains schema markup in a sentence, and the schema markup guide covers which types suit which pages.
Paste the code into the page head, or the custom code area most website builders provide.
Local business schema generator: the schema most small businesses need first
If you serve customers in a place, LocalBusiness schema is usually the first one to add: it states your name, address, phone and opening details in a form search engines read directly.
Pick the business type, then fill in the extras: logo, phone and address are among the six optional fields. Keep every detail identical to your Google Business Profile, because mismatched details are a common local SEO problem.
To check whether your site already has LocalBusiness schema, and whether your name, address and phone match your profile, run the Local SEO Check. See how local service businesses use Digimetrics, or read the local SEO guide.
Writing schema by hand vs. using a schema markup generator
Writing schema by hand means reading schema.org, typing JSON without a single misplaced comma and testing until it validates. A generator does the typing and the checking.
One stray bracket makes the whole block unreadable, and placeholder values left over from a copied example are a common reason markup fails.
| Step | By hand | With Schema Generator |
|---|---|---|
| Choose the right type and properties | Read schema.org docs | Pick from 16 types; fields are prompted |
| Write valid JSON | Type it, watch every comma | Written for you |
| Catch missing or placeholder values | Easy to miss | Validated before you copy |
| Test in Google | Copy into the tester | One click to the Rich Results test |
| Time | Read, type, test, repeat | A few seconds |
Does schema markup still matter for FAQ rich results and AI search?
Schema still helps a page qualify for rich results on Google, but FAQ rich results are gone: Google stopped showing them from May 7, 2026. Google also says structured data is not required for its generative AI features.
So be precise about what schema does. It describes your business, products and content in a standard, machine-readable way, which keeps you eligible for the rich results Google still shows. It is not a shortcut into AI answers. FAQ schema is still valid code, and the FAQ generator type still produces it, but do not expect the old expandable FAQ result on Google.
For AI assistants, structured data is one of several readiness signals. The AI visibility checker tests structured data alongside llms.txt and AI-bot access in one run.
Who uses a schema markup generator, and what to run next
Business owners use it to add schema without a developer; web designers use it to ship every new site with valid markup on day one.
Web designers and developers add Organization and LocalBusiness schema at launch and save the time spent hand-writing JSON. Business owners on Wix, Squarespace or WordPress paste the code into a custom code box.
After your schema is live:
- Full Site Audit (SEO + AI): checks structured data across the whole site with everything else.
- AI Readiness Check: structured data, llms.txt and AI bots in one score.
- Google Crawler Simulator: see the title, headings and links Google reads on the page.

What is the best schema markup generator in 2026?
One that covers the types you need, outputs JSON-LD and checks the code before you paste it. Schema Generator covers 16 types, validates for missing or placeholder values and links straight to Google's Rich Results test, in a few seconds.
Is there a free schema markup generator?
Yes, to start. Every Digimetrics tool is free for 7 days with no card, so you can generate markup for every key page on a small site.
Can I add schema markup without an expensive SEO subscription?
Yes. Schema Generator is included on every plan, and paid plans start at Starter, $31 a month billed annually. You paste the code yourself; no plugin is needed.
Which schema types does it support?
Sixteen, including business, product, article and FAQ. Pick the one that matches what the page actually is.
Where do I put the JSON-LD code?
In the head of the page it describes. Most website builders and WordPress themes have a header or custom code field for this.
Is this the same as a JSON schema generator online?
No. A JSON Schema generator describes the shape of data for developers' APIs. Schema markup uses the schema.org vocabulary, written as JSON-LD, to describe a web page to search engines. Schema Generator does the second.
Will schema markup improve my rankings?
No tool can guarantee rankings. Schema helps search engines understand a page and keeps it eligible for rich results; it works alongside good content and a healthy site, not instead of them.
